Music
Singing is one of my biggest passions. Since I was five years old, I have been singing in a choir, a musical theatre production, or an a cappella group. I was incredibly fortunate to continue fostering this passion at Penn with Counterparts, a dynamic hub of musicianship and leadership whose campus influence spans decades. As the group's Alumni Relations Officer, I was so proud to promote our accomplishments—from sold-out shows and new albums to music videos and national tours—among our extensive alumni network. Most importantly, I was honored to contribute my vocal talents every week to such a tight-knit community of authentic student-artists. Take a listen, and you'll see what I mean!
Counterparts is the University of Pennsylvania’s premier jazz and pop a cappella group. Founded in 1981, the group celebrates its 35th anniversary this year as the university's first co-ed a cappella group. Counterparts performs two feature shows a year and has travelled as close as New York City and far as London. Notable alumni include John Legend and Ty Stiklorius.
