I’m a native Philadelphian and a proud New York transplant for the last nine years. My literary criticism, ghostwriting, and human-interest stories have appeared in outlets like Culture Trip, Marie Claire, Parents, and Food52. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a BA in American History and French Studies and a minor in Journalism. After working as a copywriter for both agency and in-house marketing teams, in 2024 I packed up and moved to Ireland on a Fulbright grant to pursue a master’s degree in creative writing at Trinity College Dublin. Now freshly returned to the Big Apple, I’m working on a collection of essays and writing the newsletter Grace Notes (which you can subscribe to for free).

Growing up in Philly taught me many things—most importantly that Jim’s South Street has the best cheesesteaks, and a rigorous appreciation of history leads to captivating storytelling. As a freelance copywriter and editor, I use my innate curiosity, attention to detail, and comprehensive research skills to help shape clients' ideas, editorial voices, and messages for a variety of topics such as technology, marketing, politics, recruitment, compliance, and work life. I’ve developed blog posts, podcast scripts, newsletters, website/landing pages, social media posts, brochures, and email series for clients in technology, nonprofit, law, logistics, and financial services sectors.

When I'm not writing, I love throwing a dinner party, decorating my apartment with knick-knacks from Facebook Marketplace, finding free-admission hours at museums and art galleries, going to themed movie screenings, and swimming in the sea.
